NEWS

1. All clambake photos are now on line in a smaller format which should load faster. Check them out. If you would like to have any of the photos e mailed to you just drop me a line.

2. Congratulations to Matty's they are the all seasons champions second year in a row. Congratulations to Tony's All Stars they are the 2011 A Divisions Champions. Championship photos near the bottom of this page.

3. The bus trip will be Saturday August 27 leaving the lanes at 7:30am. (This is a new departure time due to traffic concerns in the Philadelphia area as advised by the bus company). The cost to bring a guest is $40.00. The clambake will Saturday September 10. The cost to bring a guest is $40.00. The clambake can accept unlimited guests. The amount of available guest seats on the bus trip will be determined by the amount of bowlers who are going on the trip. There will not be a second bus. If you want to do both events the league will pay for one event. The bowler must pay for the second event. Bowlers who do not do either event will get a rebate. The amount of the rebate depends on league expenses at the time the rebate is given. Last year the rebate was over $30, the amount this year will be determined near the end of the season.

4. The bus has currently one open seat. Call or drop me a line if you want to go. It only costs $40.00

5. You are not allowed to sell or give their bus trip seat to a person not currently on the league. This is not permitted because there are only limited seats available for league members and their guests. The league members are first when it comes to bus trip seats. Then any left over seats are available for league members wishing to bring a guest. If too many league members want to bring a guest then a guest lottery will be held like last year. ONLY after all league members and available guests are accounted for, THEN if there are any more seats they will be opened to former league members and the public. Furthermore if a bowler wishes to sell or give their seat on the bus or clambake ticket away then they WILL NOT GET A REBATE. Also anyone who is planning to sell or give their spot away they must inform me so the person who they are sending will be entered in the spreadsheet. Anyone not on the spreadsheet will be turned away the day of the event, no exceptions. If you have any further questions either send me an e mail or ask Shelly or I, at bowling Thursday.

6. Complete summer church picnic and fireman's carnival information is now on line just scroll down to the bottom of the home page and click on the "sunshine" icon where you can get the most current list of church picnics, firemans carnivals, and fairs. I will rate the local picnics with beer mugs. The current weeks picnics will also be posted on facebook.

7. Final 2011 trophy list is now on line. Check it out to see if you earned any awards this season.

8. If you enjoy bowling on the Thursday no tap league, remember the Lackawanna Friday night mixed league will be be starting Friday August 12 at 6:22pm for practice. We have room for individuals and teams.
